According to an article on Space.com, one out of every 37 to one out of every 70 sunlike stars in the sky might harbor an alien Earth. This new data comes from the Kepler space telescope. This is AWESOME! This means that there might be billions of Earth-like planets in our galaxy. Could we possibly inhabit these planets some day in the future? How likely is it that there are other forms of intelligent life on these planets?
Admittedly, maybe they wouldn't want to contact us when we cancel shows like Firefly and yet The Bachelor has been on for 14 seasons (i.e. we're stupid).
